New technology has transformed Council services in Rotherham. This was recognised nationally in December 2007 when the Council won the acclaimed BCS IT Industry Award for Public Sector Organisation of the Year.
The award highlighted the benefits that innovative use of new technology combined with imaginative process re-engineering has brought to local residents.
RBT's Information and Communication Technology Service team is made up of technology experts and business specialists. More than 90 highly skilled engineers are trained in leading edge technologies and accredited by world class organisations such as Cisco, Microsoft, UITSMF and APM.
The service is fully CAPITA SIMS.net accredited and is one of the highest rated SIMS.net support units in the country.
